This is What I Have Been Searching for my Whole life!!! (well, a semester anyway)        Rating:

This is what I needed for my dorm room. I tried everything else, and for what I need, this is is hands down the best. I don't have room for a 5.1 setup on my desk, but the sound with 5.1 going was really bad, so I converted my 5.1 system to a killer 2.1! I have my left and right speakers stacked now, and it is perfect for what I need.

Using with my PS3 and X-540        Rating:

I'm using this to get surround sound with my Logitech X-540 and my PS3. Although it's not true Dolby surround sound, it's super cheap as well as the X-540 is. Before I got this, I was using the matrix mode on the X-540, and it's nowhere near as good as having this adapter because the sound isn't forced into all 5 speakers. I highly recommend this to those who don't have the expensive 5.1 systems.

I've done my test and the others are right. All this is, is just splitting the signal 3 times; no true 5.1 surround sound. But hey, I'm not complaining about it. It works good enough for me.

Does what it's supposed to do        Rating:

I have had this for awhile and it's great for my 5.1 altec pc speakers it puts direct sound trough all of them and are way better than the speakers on board the TV but just know these do not give 5.1 sound ever they just make it so you can use pc speakers with a TV and that's what thier for anyways.
